His Healing Power: Rise Up and Be Healed

Disclaimer: I am not a physician and I do not play one on television, but I am The physician's assistant. The Physician I work for is a Ph.D, Psy.D, an M.D and He specializes as well. He is a Cardiologist, Neurologist, he's a Hematologist, and an Oncologist, a Psychiatrist, a Psychologist, and an Optamologist just to name some of His specialities. He is a Savologist, Redeemologist, a Forgivologist, a Deliverologist just to give you a little bit of His credentials. He is able to do what no other can do. I came today to talk to you about the Great Physician I work for. I wonder if you know Him?

sick- affected with disease or ill health:: Ailing, spiritually or morally unsound or corrupt
disease: trouble, a condition of the living animal or plant body or of one of its parts that impairs normal functioning: SICKNESS, MALADY; a harmful development

There are over 80 different autoimmune diseases. What is an Autoimmune Disease?
It is when the immune system mistakenly attacks the body's own organs and tissues.
These diseases/disorders occur 75% more in women than men. An interesting thing about Autoimmune disorders/diseases is that they have a tendency to lead to vision problems and ultimately, blindness.
Some Autoimmune Disorders/Diseases many of us are familiar with are: Diabetes, Chrones Disease, Thyroid Diseases, Rhematoid Arthiritis, Multiple Sclerosis, and Lupus. There are many of us sitting right here today in the Body of Christ afflicted and sick with these diseases and some I did not even mention.
I mentioned these diseases have the tendency to lead to vision problems and ultimately, in some cases to blindness as with Diabetes. In the Bible Jesus dealt with blindness more than any other condition and if you study the Gospels where Jesus performed the miracles of healing those who were blind among many other illnesses and diseases, you will find every person He healed of Blindness was male. There were not any accounts in the Bible of women being healed of blindness, however, we know this does not mean there were not blind women. Nevertheless, all of the healings pertaining to blindness were men.
Matthew 10:1; James 5:13-16; John 9:1-11
John 12:40 (37-41) "be converted, and I should heal them"
Mark 2:1-12 What good would it do for him to be healed of the palsy and left in his sins? Jesus said in Mark 2:17 "they that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
Mark 8:22-26
Exodus 33:24 "No one living in Zion will say, 'I am ill': and the sins of those who dwell there will be forgiven.

Why is there sickness/disease in the Body of Christ?
1) Sin due to a failure to admit one is a sinner and asking for forgiveness of sins (repentance)- Jn. 12:40;
2) So that the works of God should be manifested - in John 9 said the blind man was blind from birth so that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
3) Humility or to keep one from thinking it's all about them- Paul in 2 Cor. 12:5-7 said, "Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities. For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me. And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure."
4)Unbelief -- John 12:37 (KJV)
37 But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:
5) Disobedience- 1Peter 2:7,8
Matthew 9:27-30 (KJV)
27 And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.
28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.

What is the result of sickness/disease in the Body of Christ?
An immune system that mistakenly attacks the body's own organs and tissues. We have this group against that group. Then, within the local assembly brothers against brothers and sisters against sisters and brothers and sisters against one another talking about one another, causing strife and discord. Men of God attacking women of God because they don't believe women ought to preach. Autoimmune diseases lead to vision problems. I don't agree with the Pastor. I think he missed it on this one. The next thing you know blindness comes in. Physical and spiritual blindness. You have sick people who fail to obey the Scriptures James 5:13-16 (KJV)
13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

If we have blind men who are married and their wives are their help meet and she has the same vision he has because woman was taken out of man and man out of woman. If she is supposed to boldly stand out in front of him and see, how can she see if he's blind. Her vsion becomes impaired because he's blind and she sees what he sees. She has the same vision he has. Even if she can see some things she cannot produce what she sees without God's healing power. It becomes the blind leading the blind. The blind husband leading his wife who as his help meet is standing out in front of him trying to feel her way. Or, the wife who does not want to submit and be the help meet so she steps out in front and attempts to lead her husband in the way she thinks they ought to go. Then, we have disease. We have trouble. We have part of the body that is impaired and is not able to function normally. There is sickness. There is spiritual or moral unsoundness or corruption and it begins to affect other organs and tissue. Now, it's not just our eyes, but now our mental stability, our emotional stability, other areas physically, and our financial stability.
"And Jesus summoned to Him His twelve disciples and gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease."
It is not God's will that His Body be sick and diseased. He does not want us to be blind.
2 Peter 1:4-11 (KJV)
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Psalm 103 We see in this Psalm there is a link between sin/forgiveness and illness/healing and yet, he says about the Lord, "who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases" verse 3.

Let us "Rise Up and Be Healed." Let us accept His Healing Power in our lives and let it work in us, and for us, and through us. It's time for the Body of Christ to be healed so that He can use us to heal others.

It's Been Awhile

Hello, friends. It's been awhile since my last post in April and so I have put together this teaching on God's Healing Power. I know there are a lot of hurting people who are needing to be healed in various areas of their lives. To tell the truth I have needed healing in all of these areas I mention in the teaching on the right side of this page called, "The 7 Healing Touches of Jesus for Secured Health." I just wanted to take this time to minister to those who are poor in spirit, brokenhearted, sick and afflicted, depressed, and without hope or running low on hope. God is able don't give up on Him because He will not give up on you. Trust Him and He will not fail you. I hope this Word will be a help to all that will read it. Enjoy and let it minister to you right where you are in need of your healing. God bless you and I love you.

Webster's Dictionary:
sick-1. affected with disease or ill health, 2. spiritually or morally unsound or corrupt
disease- 1. trouble,2. a condition of the living animal or plant body, or of one of its parts that impairs normal functioning: SICKNESS, MALADY, 3. a harmful development (as a social institution).

The 7 Healing Touches of Jesus

Subtopic: His Healing Power

The Gift of Healing:

Matthew 10:1 (KJV)
1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
Matthew 10:1 (AMP)
1 AND JESUS summoned to Him His twelve disciples and gave them power and authority over unclean spirits, to drive them out, and to cure all kinds of disease and all kinds of weakness and infirmity.

We have been given power and authority just like the first disiples. Power against. Power over: "all manner" or "all kinds" of sickness and disease whether physical (cancer, diabetes), emotional, mental (depression, thebipolar, schizephrenia, etc. ), spiritual
(the need for regeneration and cleansing, blind ess and deafness), financial (debt, bad decisions, scams, lack of understanding about money and God's Ecomomic Plan).

Mark 3:15 (KJV)
15 And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:

Mark 16:15-18 (KJV)
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Mark 6:56 (KJV)
56 And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole.

Q.Wilt thou be made whole?

Luke 8:46 (KJV)
46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.

O' how wonderful it would be if Jesus would say again, "Somebody has touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me (out of My body, out of My vessels in the earth, out of My sons)

Paul said it like this in Galatians 2:20 (KJV)
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Acts 5:15 (KJV)
15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

"at the least" - "if I could touch the hem of His garment" the woman with the issue of blood purposed in her mind and heart.

"at the least" - "if I could just get you to come before Me so I can overshadow you with my glory and my power so that, MY shadow (you) can pass by the sick and diseased and they be healed.

The 7 Healing Touches of Jesus for Secured Health:

Taken from the Thomson Chain Bible

1. The Cleansing Touch - Matthew 8:3 (KJV)
3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
2. The Quieting Touch -
Matthew 8:15 (KJV)
15 And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.
The Illuminating Touch - Matthew 9:27-30 (KJV)
27 And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.
28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.
The Reassurimg Touch-
Matthew 17:1-8 (KJV)
1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
7 And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.
8 And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.
The Liberating Touch-
Mark 7:34-35 (KJV)
34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.
35 And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.
The Touch Upon Childhood-
Mark 10:13-16 (KJV)
13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.
14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

7. The Healing Touch- Luke 22:51 (KJV)
51 And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

Spiritual Healing: Luke 4:18-19 (KJV)
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
Revelation 22:1-2 (KJV)
1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Q. What kind of leaves are on your tree? Is there healing in your leaves?

Disease Spiritual: Mark 2:16-18 (KJV)
16 And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners?
17 When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

All I want to know is will you be made whole? Will you commit unto the Lord your sickness and/or disease and receive His healing power that flows through His healing touch?

The Journey

Let me begin this blog by saying I have wanted to do this for a long time, but I was not really sure how to do it. So, I put if off until now. I have decided to get it all off of my chest and just say what I feel needs to be said. I will not pretend to be anyone or anything other than who I am. Maybe you are out there just like me and beginning some new things. Trying some things you have never done before or trying something you have done before, but this time you are going to make it work, you are going to succeed. Did you know you were born to succeed? The only real person who stands between me succeeding is me. The only person standing between you and success is you. You have everything you need to succeed. The question is what will you do with it? Knowledge is power so we must continue to acquire knowledge, however, knowledge is only power if you know how to use it. Knowledge that is gathered just for the sake of it does not bring power until it is activated. I will do a whole other blog later. Gather knowledge because it ignites the potential you have. It is like fuel in the gas tank. Think about that. If you can believe it you can achieve it. What is it you want to do and have not done? Well, now is the time to do it because there isn't anything any of us cannot accomplish. Do you want to know why? I have to tell you we are destined to succeed because we have been made in the image and after the likeness of God. I know some of you won't like this, but it is truth and I do my very best to only speak those things that are true. We have been made by our Creator (God) to create and to speak those things that be not into existence. I know this might be a bit much for some so I will let that sink in. You are destined to win-believe it and you will achieve it. Until next time my friends - don't stop believing it is the key to achieving your dreams and completing your destiny. Feel free to let me know your thoughts on this.
